I’m Edward Maubach, otherwise known as Ed Lefty Maubach. Over the past 15 years I’ve been practicing and pursuing a career as an international artist. I’ve sold artwork in Kenya Africa, Mexico, and throughout Peoria, IL. I enjoy the beauty of what I do and hope you too can enjoy my artwork in your home, office, or gallery.
As a young man, being a marine in combat, I was wounded twice and earned two purple hearts in Viet Nam. I am now a Disabled American Veterans (DAV) who spends my time being retired and painting for pleasure and enjoyment.
After the war, I’ve worked many jobs including a factory worker, a Hollywood actor in (Classic Scene: “On the waterfront”), Threes Company, Ropers, and McMillan and Wife, a publisher(I’m Back… and the Truth Hurts by Joseph Edwards) , and now an international artist. Everything I have done in life has taught me many lessons which I still use today.
I’m inspired by everyday things. If I see it and like it, I’ll paint it. If my artwork can send a message, a wake-up call, or make you think, then I’ll paint it.
